Crown Hill Book Cover Title only 500 270

Dear Reader,

Hello. My name is Christina Abt.  I am a newspaper columnist, magazine writer and radio broadcaster, as well as an author with two books to my credit.

My latest book is titled, “Crown Hill.” It is a work of historical fiction based on three generations of individuals who lived and spent time in a home long ago known by the same name.  In this novel I share generational stories of love, life and the afterlife, as aided by an unusual narrator who knows the details best—Crown Hill.

Since November, I have engaged in Crown Hill book club discussions as a way to connect with readers and share my author’s experiences, as well as behind the scenes adventures of writing and publishing. The success of these discussions has encouraged me to reach out to other book clubs, community organizations and neighborhood groups, which is why you are receiving this letter. I wondered if your group would be interested in reading Crown Hill and engaging in a follow-up author discussion?  I would be pleased to attend with no remuneration expected other than your members purchasing copies of my book, which I would be happy to sign. Also, should you have a charity that your group supports, I would be pleased to donate $1from the sale of each book to that cause.

Check out my website for  my  bio info as well as the  Crown Hill video trailer and my social media links.

Thank you for your time and consideration of this book club proposal. I look forward to hearing from you and for the opportunity to welcome you and your fellow book lovers to the Crown Hill journey.

Best Regards,

“Christina was in the Indianapolis area to do several appearances and was nice enough lead an afternoon discussion in my home in Zionsville, Indiana. Sixteen friends filled my living room. Some had read “Crown Hill” and some had not. However, that didn’t matter because as Christina began to tell the story of Crown Hill and the story behind the book and how it all came to be, we were mesmerized! To a person, we wanted the afternoon to go on forever just so we could continue listening to the voice whose story kept us so engaged. She is warm, gracious, funny ….and honest. Come back, soon, Christina, with your next book!”–Margi

CROWN HILL A NOVEL OF LOVE, LIFE AND THE AFTERLIFE

by CHRISTINA M. ABT

 abt cover final1

We think of a house as a place that we build and shape to reflect who we are, a place where we experience significant life moments and events.
But what if the reverse were also true? What if a house could shape those who enter it to reflect its own being? Affect the way those within its walls experience significant life moments and events?

Crown Hill tells the story of such a house and the lives shaped and connected by their experiences within its walls. Readers will become entwined with a suspected murderer, an abused wife, an accomplished lawyer-turned-spiritualist, an internationally renowned author and a newly divorced woman beginning again— their tales all told by the one who knows them best—Crown Hill.

“Christina Abt has put to words what many of us have felt about our homes, that there is life imbued in the walls, capturing the love and fears of generations while projecting strength and peace to those moving through the rooms. Crown Hill is a mystery and ghost story and a tale of redemption that will keep the reader turning pages.” – Holly Lorincz, National Publishing Consultant.
